Salma – Parent (Egypt)

“Leonie definitely made a huge difference with our son. We always felt we were dealing with a professional. She was so organised when planning new goals and working on them, very honest in discussing what we have reached and so professional in terms of understanding our son’s strengths and weaknesses. We are lucky she worked with our son”

Deborah – Parent (London)

“When our son Oscar was two and a half he was diagnosed as being high on the autistic spectrum, and we were overwhelmed by a sense of despair. Leonie was recommended to us and worked with Oscar and with us to help him with his speech, eye contact and behaviour. Within a year, our non-verbal son was speaking and engaging with everyone and was making daily improvements. Leonie continued to work with Oscar at home and also at his school and we know without her help, he would not be in mainstream school today and such a happy articulate little boy.”

Parent of Harry, 14 years (Suffolk, UK)

“Leonie has been working with Harry online since January and is FANTASTIC. She completely understands him and creates his sessions around his concentration levels which change on a daily basis. To not have to travel to London means we can have more sessions which has really helped Harry and his working memory and overall language skills. Teletherapy has completely revolutionised our lives and Harry has gained so much more from his online sessions. Thank you so much.”

Zoe; parent of Adam [7 years] and Sean [11 years] (Kent, UK)

“My son Adam began Speech and Language Therapy with Leonie in London in November 2019. We had received a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD earlier that year and had struggled to find a Speech and Language Therapist local to us in either Kent or Oxfordshire who took a holistic approach to Adam’s needs. With the COVID 19 lockdown we started teletherapy. I was initially concerned that Adam would lose the advantages of face to face therapy, however the benefits of teletherapy with Leonie far outweigh any disadvantages for us. Leonie has helped Adam to deal with change and increased his independence and problem-solving skills during online sessions. On a practical level we save time on travel into central London, have more flexibility around session times and avoid the sensory overload that can come with rush hour and delayed trains. The increased flexibility has meant that my elder son Sean has also been able to benefit from sessions with Leonie, something which would not have been possible without teletherapy because of school and other commitments. I wholeheartedly recommend Leonie for her professionalism, breadth of knowledge and ability to get the best from children and young people.”

Joyce Jarrett – Teaching Assistant, Primary School, London

“Leonie has been an excellent colleague to work alongside and her knowledge and expertise is second to none. I have learnt so much from her and have been able to effectively put everything she has taught me, advised and suggested into practice. In turn, this has enabled be to give the best support from a speech and language perspective to the child I currently assist.

Moreover, the way Leonie incorporates peers of the clients she works with, in order to develop speech and language through social skills is tremendous and has really opened my eyes to the many ways in which one can enrich a child’s learning experience at school.

Besides Leonie’s professionalism, she is a lovely lady who maintains a positive attitude in all circumstances. Her reliability and patience is admirable.”
